Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept commissions?
Yes, on a selective basis. I take on a small number of crypto art commissions each year, prioritizing projects that allow genuine artistic exploration rather than pure deliverable work. Past commissions include editorial work for The Atlantic Magazine and a large-scale installation for the Bitcoin Conference organized by Bitcoin Magazine in Miami. Inquiries also come from blockchain and Web3 conferences, cultural institutions, and private collectors interested in site-specific or editioned blockchain-based pieces.
Commissions typically involve an initial consultation to discuss concept, scope, timeline, and budget, followed by preliminary sketches, one or two rounds of feedback, and final delivery — minted on-chain, in physical form, or as a hybrid. Lead times range from three weeks for editorial illustration to several months for large-scale installations.
Please include your vision, your deadline, and any relevant context — venue, audience, format, budget range — in your inquiry. The more specificity you share early, the faster I can confirm whether the project is a good fit.
Can I buy your NFTs without cryptocurrency?
Yes. Please send a message with details about the piece you’re interested in — I have accommodated collectors with alternative payment methods in the past. Note that the transfer of NFTs is irreversible, so the chosen payment method is not refundable.
How far in advance should I book a speaking engagement?
Ideally 2–3 months for conferences and keynotes, though shorter timelines can sometimes be accommodated. For academic lectures and workshops, 4–6 weeks is usually sufficient. Podcast recordings are the most flexible.
What formats are available for presentations?
In-person, virtual, and hybrid. Keynotes typically run 20–45 minutes. Panel discussions and workshops vary by event. All presentations can be delivered in English, German, or French and tailored to academic, industry, or general audiences.
Are press materials available?
Yes. A press kit with biography, high-resolution images, and artist statement is available for download. For specific image requests, exhibition documentation, or interview scheduling, please submit an inquiry through the form above.
How do I cite your research?
Each research page includes a “How to Cite” section with APA format. For the History of Crypto Art timeline and the “What is Crypto Art?” framework, citation blocks with copy-to-clipboard functionality are provided directly on those pages.
Do you accept guest blog posts?
No. The Blog and Studio Notes covers my artwork, exhibitions, and the history and future of crypto art. To date, I have not accepted guest posts in order to maintain relevance and focus on art.
