Based in Montreal, Martin Lukas Ostachowski (MLO) is an internationally exhibited artist exploring the intersection of physical and digital media. Known for his evocative use of clouds as both a symbol and a subject, MLO uses art to demystify blockchain technology. From traditional materials to generative processes and crypto art, his works have been featured in exhibitions and museums across North America, Europe, and Asia, bridging the gap between fine art and decentralized technology.
As a leading Crypto Art Historian, MLO is currently a PhD researcher in Art History at the University of Zurich, specializing in the contextualization of blockchain-based art. A co-author of foundational papers on the history of crypto art, he documents the movement’s evolution. His academic work serves as a critical bridge between the nascent digital art market and traditional art historical discourse.
