Speaker Profile
Available for Keynotes, Panels & Interviews
Martin Lukas Ostachowski is a crypto art historian, blockchain artist, and keynote speaker whose work bridges artistic practice, collecting, and academic scholarship. Over nearly a decade in the space, he has presented at Kunsthaus Zürich, Kunsthalle Zürich, Ottawa Art Gallery, Crypto Art Seoul, and NFC Lisbon, addressing audiences ranging from art professionals and academic researchers to industry leaders and artists.
His perspective is distinctive because he speaks from three vantage points at once: as an artist producing blockchain-native work, as a collector who has built a serious holdings of crypto art across many media, and as a historian documenting its trajectory. As co-author of one of the earliest peer-reviewed academic papers on crypto art (Leonardo journal by MIT Press, 2021) and creator of the widely cited timeline of milestones referenced by researchers, journalists, and institutions, he brings academic rigour and lived practitioner experience to every presentation, grounding theoretical frameworks in firsthand knowledge of how the field actually evolved.
Based in Montreal, QC and available worldwide for keynotes, panels, lectures, and workshops. Presentations delivered in English, German, or French.
