About This Work

Artwork Description

Cloud of the Future was created for the Inner Voice exhibition at Danae gallery in Paris as a physical extension of the third and final chapter of the digital triptych Known, Uncertain, Unknown: My Past, Present, and Future. The sculpture extracts and materializes one of the 3D models from the animation, completing the arc from past to present to future across all three works.

The background of the digital work is built from physical stamps, scanned and digitized before being fed into Python-generated animations. This interplay between the physical and the computational is central to this chapter: generative systems have become the defining language of my most recent practice and the direction toward which my work is moving.

The 3D sculptures in this chapter reflect that trajectory. Where earlier works began with simple meshes and subtractive patterns, the forms here push further toward dematerialization and structural complexity. As my fluency with generative tools and custom scripts has deepened, so too has the intricacy of the shapes I am able to produce. Each iteration becomes more resolved, more layered, and more difficult to trace back to a single origin.

The sculpture stands at the intersection of these two impulses: a physical object born from generative processes, embodying both the freedom and the rigor that computational practice makes possible. It does not conclude the triptych so much as open it outward, pointing toward what comes next.
