I am excited to announce that my application was selected for the 14th edition of the Symposium de Peinture “Ma ville en couleurs” in Thetford Mines, Québec. It will be my first group exhibition and brings me already halfway towards one of my challenging art goals this year: participation in two art events.
It is also exciting for me as it marks my first real interaction with the public as an artist. So far, the communication has been one-directional, with me posting my work online and receiving a few comments through social media or this blog. So, I am really curious to hear what feedback I will get.
About the Symposium de Peinture “Ma ville en couleurs”
Hosting around 30 selected artists, the Symposium de Peinture is one of the largest annual group exhibitions in the MRC (municipalité régionale de comté) des Appalaches. Last year, artists came from all over Québec and New Brunswick. The special thing about the Symposium de Peinture is that each artist will create one painting in front of the audience during these two days.
