Last week I drove out to Lac Aylmer Park, at the edge of the Eastern Townships, to photograph a sunset. It was freezing and the park was empty out at the season, and that was precisely the advantage. With nobody around, the water stayed undisturbed long enough to hold the sky whole. Contrails crossed overhead and again below, doubled in the surface, the lake briefly keeping two skies at once. Good material to bring back to the studio.
