Recap Art Ono Fair in Seoul
Art OnO Seoul was my first art fair experience, full of highlights and a few lessons learned.

PAC AW8Y Grey Variant is a visualization of active crypto wallets as a percentage of the global population with smartphones (cloud density per rectangle, adjusted) by year from 2019 to 2024.
This artwork series celebrates the global adoption of Bitcoin through visualizations based on meaningful data. Each ch(Art) references specific growth metrics embedded in the title, with cloud forms representing the expansion of these values. PAC AN8Y visualizes the growth of active participants in the blockchain ecosystem based on wallet numbers. Cloud density corresponds to the adjusted growth rate over the past eight years. The rectangular layout follows a 2⁴ (16) structure, referencing the base-16 (hexadecimal) system used in encrypting wallet addresses and transactions.
Plotting Against Centralization is the overarching series, which traces the rise of Bitcoin across the globe. Set against hostile financial, regulatory, and political forces, these algorithmic visualizations turn precise data into quiet acts of defiance — data art hidden in plain sight.

Looking forward to joining ZeroOne for the Signs and Other Technologies showcase at the Art OnO fair in Seoul, South Korea.

For the past few months, I’ve been creating a series of data-driven visualizations highlighting global blockchain adoption.
