A few days have passed since the Art OnO Art Fair in Seoul, South Korea. The event was held from April 10–13 at the SETEC (Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention Center) in the Gangnam district. This was not only Art OnO’s second edition but also my second trip to South Korea. Some of you may remember that I previously spoke at Crypto Art Seoul in September 2023, where I discussed the history of crypto art.

This year, Art OnO 2025 brought together 168 galleries from more than 20 countries, many making their debut in South Korea. It also marked my first art fair participation, a milestone I’ll not forget. I was part of the zeroone showcase, titled “Signs and Other Technologies”, alongside artists Gisel X Florez, Sarah Ridgley, Enigmatriz, and Lee Sisan.
For my presentation, I exhibited two digital artworks: PAC AN3Y Shape Variant and PAC AN4Y Pattern Variant as well as a large-scale installation, PAC Nodes of Resilience, which incorporated my pen plotter. These works were featured on the main wall of the booth, making them a focal point for visitors. I also showcased six pen-plotted physical works, ranging from unique pieces to limited editions.

Not everything went as planned, though. I had intended to do live plotting throughout the fair, but unfortunately, my pen plotter was damaged during transport. A broken contact prevented proper control of one of the two axes. Despite the setback, the plotter itself still became a point of fascination for visitors. It drew people in, sparked conversations, and turned into an unexpected icebreaker. Looking ahead, I’ve learned the importance of traveling with a complete set of spare parts whenever I bring my equipment abroad.
Here are a few impressions from the fair:

A huge thank you to Art OnO for hosting, and to zeroone for featuring my work so prominently. You can find the related initial press release and announcement here.
