Hi , I’m Martin Lukas Ostachowski and I live in Ottawa, ON. Since my childhood, I have been painting, designing and enjoying visual arts in my daily life.
On my 30th birthday I decided to bring my life-long passion more into focus. I set myself the target to have my first solo exhibition. I invite you to join me on this journey.
Update November 2015
Following a themed art contest on the subject of vibration, I was thrilled to be selected as a finalist and to present my work in my very first art exhibition at the Marius Barbeau Art Museum. You can view images from the exhibition: My First Group Exhibition.
Update September 2019:
What began as a personal challenge culminated in my first solo exhibition in 2019. It was an incredibly meaningful milestone in my journey as an artist. You can see highlights from that exhibition in this short video: My First Solo Exhibition (with Video).
Update October 2023:
Fast forward to 2022: I was invited to create a large-scale installation for an international group exhibition at the Kunsthalle in Zurich, Switzerland. For those unfamiliar with the European Kunsthalle concept, these are contemporary art museums that do not maintain permanent collections. Read more about this milestone: My First Museum Exhibition.
