In December, the Tezos Spotlight shone a light on Art on Tezos during the 2024 Miami Art Week, celebrating the vibrant intersection of crypto art and traditional art worlds. With six days of programming across five locations and over 60 artists contributing to six curated projects, the spotlight showcased the art community’s significant success at Miami Art Week.
During Art Basel Miami Beach, Art on Tezos made a strong impression by promoting crypto art through immersive installations and high-profile collaborations throughout Miami Beach. One of the highlights was the Miami Digital Art Fair, a digital art experience presented by Blackdove on December 3.
The day included a range of events and curations, such as a collaborative presentation by LaCollection and objkt, featuring the work of Martin Lukas Ostachowski. This project offered a critical exploration of art, currency, and their evolving meanings in the digital age, drawing attention to the transformative potential of blockchain-backed art.
The visual programming was complemented by several engaging panel discussions, covering topics such as “Collecting the Future,” the launch of the PaintedBoxed Tezos World Tour, and the integration of digital art into traditional art institutions.
