Parameterizing Font Clouds

One often overlooked aspect of generative art is parameterizing the algorithm to allow control over the final output. While I’m unsure how others approach this, I spend a considerable amount of time fine-tuning parameters to “weatherproof” the algorithm within a specific range of desired outcomes. In this example, I experimented with a font script, adjusting opacity levels, font sizes, offset parameters and placement densities to accentuate the background gradients and finer details of the clouds. How do you approach parameterization in your work?
