Group Exhibition: Digital Horizons – The New State of the Art
The Museum of Contemporary Digital Art curated a group exhibition and conference during the Contemporary Istanbul art fair.
In this collaboration, artists Oficinas TK and Martin Lukas Ostachowski explore the materiality and potential energy of aggregated information. With the limitless possibility of storing data in the cloud, all former physical limitations are removed, allowing excessive data accumulation. The resulting aggregate becomes both a burden and a weakness.
Oficinas TK is known for three-dimensional works filled with mysticism, often featuring menhirs and rocks. Martin Lukas Ostachowski is known for his exploration of blockchain technology through the subject of clouds. The artists’ distinct styles complement each other, becoming a fusion reminiscent of Magrittean aesthetics.
