Art Ono Fair Announcement with ZeroOne

Apr 3rd, 2025

Looking forward to joining ZeroOne for the Signs and Other Technologies showcase at the Art OnO fair in Seoul, South Korea.

I’m thrilled to finally share what I’ve been working on over the past few months! I’ll be joining ZeroOne at the Art Fair Ono in Seoul, South Korea, where I’ll be presenting new pieces from my Plotting Against Centralization series and doing live plotting right from the booth. I’ve also put together a small installation that reimagines my POW series of suspended notebooks, plus two brand-new digital artworks created just for this event. I’m equally excited to be alongside my talented friends and fellow artists Gisel X Florez, Sarah Ridgley, Enigmatriz, and Lee Sisan. If you’re in Seoul, come by and say hello!

Signs and other technologies

Signs and other technologies is a showcase that explores the constant motion, evolving through shifts in technique, medium, and intent—how artistic practice adapts to new realities while remaining deeply rooted in its foundational gestures.

As an open vision platform, zeroone encourages artists to think big, experiment freely, and redefine the limits of artistic expression. To challenge conventions, provoke thought, and push creative boundaries forward. This showcase embodies that ethos, showcasing how tradition and innovation coexist—how craftsmanship, digital frameworks, and artistic intent converge to shape the way art is created, experienced, and collected.

Bringing together artists at the forefront of this evolution, the exhibition highlights the dialogue between past and future, physical and digital, manual and algorithmic. It examines how technology expands the possibilities of artistic experimentation while also demanding a renewed understanding of technique. In an era of rapid change, artists are not only inventing new ways to create but also reclaiming lost methods, challenging audiences to see, learn, and engage with art in new ways.

As both an accelerator and a space for artistic discourse, zeroone fosters these conversations, providing a platform where new creative languages take form. This showcase invites us to witness the ongoing redefinition of artistic technique—a moment where boundaries are meant to be tested, and where the very act of creation becomes an exploration of what comes next.
