I am honoured to share that Digital EUR, the first currency in my Do Not Accumulate series, has been featured by curator Eleonora Brizi for 100 Collectors, the global membership network for digital art collectors, as part of their 5 Things to Know series.
Eleonora has accompanied this movement as a curator since its earliest days, and it shows in the reading. She frames the work with the question the whole series turns on: what happens when Bitcoin’s defining principles, scarcity and immutability, are used to imagine their opposite, “a currency designed to lose value over time”? I spent months building the series outward from that inversion. There is a particular pleasure in seeing it folded back into a single question, and placed in front of a room of collectors with such care.
